Welcome to Barefoot Celebrations

Hello, I'm Andrew, an ordained Interfaith Minister in Scotland with OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation and your spiritual guide through life's most important occasions.

With a spiritual journey that has taken me through evangelical Christianity, Earth-based spirituality, Buddhism and Hinduism, I love the varied ways humanity expresses our need to connect with the Great Mystery and love walking with people as they explore their own flavour of spiritual expression.

As a gay man having experienced “high control religion” that limited both my spiritual freedom and ability to be of service, I am passionate about inclusive spirituality and believe spirituality is for everyone.

I love to see people gain freedom to express their own spiritual longings and journey deeper into their unique spiritual expression.

What I Offer at Barefoot Celebrations

Creating bespoke ceremonies that truly represent a person's character lights me up!

I love a good wedding and also (strange as it may sound) a beautifully held funeral.

Ceremony is so important to help us celebrate, commemorate and mark important moments in life.

I’m here to help you make that special moment come alive!

"Ritual and ceremony in their due times kept the world under the sky and the stars in their courses. It was astonishing what ritual and ceremony could do"
